-If you are showing the slideshow at an event try and find pictures of all the guests. Nobody likes to be left out.
-Try to find as many digital pictures in good condition; it will end up being much cheaper for you.
-Try to get a good range of pictures. For example, if you were doing a wedding collect photos of the service and thereception. You don’t want the pictures to be to similar to each other.
-If you want to add captions to any photo add a post-it on the back of the photo or # each photo and make a list of
captions with corresponding photo #’s.
-You can choose to have one continuous slideshow or you can break up your photos into groups or chapters. After making many slideshows we recommend organizing them into chapters this allows you to play one song per chapter and have a nice pause in between songs.
-Make sure you have some way of showing the order of the photos. If they are digital then just put them in order on the disk, creating different folders can be helpful to distinguish between chapters. If they are not digital post-it notes (on the back) work well, and so do photo album pages (just make sure you label the pages in order). Envelopes work well to distinguish between chapters.
-Whatever way you have of organizing your photos just make sure it is clear!
-Music is very important to the slideshow, maybe even more important than the photos. It sets the mood for the show.
-Choose songs
that mean something to you or convey what you are trying to show.
-We would recommend 25 photos for a shorter song and 40 photos for
a longer song (a shorter song is about 3 minutes and a longer song is 5 minutes).
-Either put your songs on a disk or if you don’t
own them then include them on the order form.
-Keep in mind there is a $1 fee for each song we have to purchase.
-Need help choosing
music,

-Pick any picture for the menu; it can be one that is in the slideshow or one that is not included.
-Make sure that this photo is clearly labeled.
-If you choose not to have a menu (the slideshow will automatically play when in the DVD player).
-This picture will also be on the cover of the DVD case and on the DVD itself.
-If you want to include video clips in your slideshow put them on a disk and indicate where you want them to go.
-The start or end of the show is usually good places for videos.
-Please print out an order form and send it in with you pictures to:
